27 September Orphan,Widow,Stranger"In this world you are an orphan--eagerly anticipating your adoption as God's child.
In this world, you are a widow--longing for reunion with your Bridegroom.
In this world you are a stranger--a pilgrim waiting to become a citizen of heaven.
And in this world, God has called you to care for the orphan, the stranger, and the widow.
Fields of the Fatherless is a journey that brings you back to what Christianity is all about:
Giving yourself to others,
Being Christ to a hurting world,
And living for the one that comes next."
--By C. Thomas Davis 26 September
——Daily Walk > > 3. ——William Cary > > 14. ——Hugh McLellan > > 15. ——William Cowper > > 19 . ——Robert Burns > > 20 . ——Matthew Henry > > 21. ——Charles Finney > > 22. ——Daily Walk > > 23. ——Daily Walk > > 26. ——George Muller > > 28. ——Helen Smith > > 29. ——Stanley Jones > > 30. ——William Law > > 32.
”我的心哪,你曾对耶和华说你是我的主,我的好处不在你以外(apart from you I have no good thing)“--诗篇16:2
” God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble...The LORD Almighty is with us; ...“--诗篇46
17 Mai Prayer Changes Things!
15:5-8 27 Februar Work is goodOT Thursday, OT Friday! Saturday is my Mom's and Sunday is my Aba Father's!
Work is good. It is satisfying to do a job well and accomplish something.
But when we don't do our work as unto the Lord, or try to make our jobs our source, worshiping and serving money
instead of God -- work can be bad.
Everything is good when we feed on HIS WORDS
13 Februar A Valentine From God
A Valentine From God-Written by Myra Smith Valentine's Day brings out the spirit of human love in all of us. Suddenly, we wax poetic, composing rhymes that only best friends and family would adore. We shop for hearts adorned with rabbits, bears and puppies looking sweet and cuddly. There are roses packaged in cellophane and beautiful floral arrangements delivered to our door. It is a time of giving and sharing. It is the way we say, "I love you, and I want to give you something special." God is the original cupid. Surrounded in heaven by angels strumming harps and the most beautiful flowers "that" side of paradise, He thinks about love 24/7. We know this to be true because He has sprinkled earth with gorgeous vegetation, adorable animals and incredible scenery from the tallest peaks to the greenest valleys. Then, in what is still beyond our wildest imagination, God made man and woman from the dust of the earth. From the first days, the humans got into trouble, but God stayed with them and guided them and their descendants through the highs and lows of human experience. Unbelievably, our forefathers are Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Sarah, Eve, David, Job, Paul, John, Esther and Noah. . .just to name a few! If our story ended here, we would know that God loves us. But God had one more special delivery. On a star-studded night in the little town of Bethlehem, God gave us His son, to live among us and to die for our sins. It is more than we can understand; it is love greater than we can express; it is God's valentine. Humanity wraps its love in red cellophane; it sticks hearts on teddy bears and buys expensive chocolates. God wraps His love in swaddling clothes and lays Him in a manger. Happy Valentine's Day From God! "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-- comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Delay Is Not Denial
LUKE 18:1 NKJ 1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, Many people give up too easily in prayer. When they don't see the answer almost immediately, they quit. God is not pleased with this approach. You may say, "God knows my need. Why doesn't He just give it to me, instead of playing games?" Whether you agree with God's ways, or not: God is still in
charge and makes the rules -- not you. So, it does you no good to argue or complain. Better to just line up with God instead of fighting against His plan. Besides, in reality God's ways are perfect, it is just that we are often too immature and ignorant to understand all God is doing. Scripture has many examples of people pressing in and receiving answers to prayer. We should never be quitters when it comes to prayer. It is God's will to answer your prayers. He is the One who told you to pray. God actually delights in answering your prayers. (Never forget that God loves you more than you can imagine. God loves you more than He loves Himself, and proved it by dying in your place, so you could go free.) "Then why are there so many delays?" There is an enemy, the devil, who hates you and is against you
receiving your answer from God. Second, some prayers involve other people, and God does not force people to do His will, but works with them patiently so they can see and do the right thing willingly. This takes time. Third, there are things that God is working in you while you
are persevering in prayer. God's plan is for you to grow up spiritually. God wants to enlarge your faith and encourage you to develop a closer relationship with Him. If every answer always came immediately, would you really press in and spend time drawing closer to God and studying His Word? Don't despair in prayer. Keep on praying in faith as long as you are praying according to God's Word. A delay, even a very long one, does not mean that God is saying no to your request. SAY THIS: I will not give up in prayer.

Written by Marji "Mike" Kruger Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth." (NIV) Genesis 11:4
After the flood, God had Noah bring out the animals and said to him: "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth" (Genesis 9:1). God had told Adam the same thing after He created the earth and all that lives on it (Genesis 1:22 and 1:28). God gave Noah and his sons dominion over the birds, fish, and animals (Genesis 9:2) as He did with Adam in Genesis 1:26. God gave the plants to Adam for food (Genesis 1:29) and to Noah in Genesis 9:3. Even the warning to Noah about shedding another man's blood, reminds us of Cain killing Abel (Genesis 4) and the consequences of his actions. In essence, God and man began all over again after the flood. There was one family and they were to multiply and fill the earth.
As men multiplied, they spread out in clans and established their own territories. At this point in time, everyone spoke the same language. The people made the decision to make a building to reach the sky. Their plan was to reach heaven and establish a name for themselves. It was in the pride of thinking that they could reach God and "be someone" that was their downfall. They wanted to live by their own plans, not God's plan. But, God thwarted their plan by confusing their language so that they could not understand each other and thus their plan failed. This sets the scene for the conflict that is found throughout the remainder of Genesis as well as the rest of the Bible. Men and women want to follow their own desires, instead of God's plan. How are you building your own Tower of Babel?
How are you trying to establish your name as opposed to establishing God's name? Are you trying to "be someone" at the expense of others? In what ways are you living to please yourself instead of following God? How are you side-stepping God's plans for your life? The men and women who are disobedient to God live with the consequences of their disobedience.
But, the men and women who are faithful and obedient to God are the ones that are used by God for His purposes. Which group are you in?

Track Plan

。。谢谢Sue给我讲的那个故事还有那张字条“what would you do if you were not afraid” 感谢神,你有足够的耐心等我去学习信靠你,再多信靠你一点。。。 |
